Attributes are configured as Name/Attribute pairs, with the following options and properties.

- Attribute: The actual value for the instance of the attribute. Maximum 30 characters
- Visability: Sets when the Attribute is displayed. This setting increases the visability incrementally
- Details: Most restrictive setting, the attribute is only shown in the Details display for the item.
- View: The attribute is only shown in the Details and View display for the item (applicable to Solutions and Entries only).
- Front: The attribute is shown as for View, but also in the Browser front displays.
- Comment: The attribute is shown as for Front, but also in any Comment lists (currently applicable to User attributes only).
- Inherit: If set to true, the Attribute is not shown in any displays for that item, but is inherited by any items using that item. If set on an item that does not implement Inheritance, the Attribute will be ignored.

- For Locations: Any Entry initially created and linked to that Location will inherit the attributes set for Inherit.
