What we need is an alarm clock that allows the display to be switched off completely, not just dimmed. Perhaps with the ability to re-show with a button push or detection of a hand over the top, with automatic off again after a few seconds. Can someone design one, or know their already one out there. I am sure there is a market for the functionality. We don't all want a night light! in.
